To add more realism to the sessions squawk codes will now be used. Pilots are advised to use the UK conspicuity squawk codes (7000) unless advised by a controling authority. Bristol uses squawk codes from 6310-6337. These codes are for IFR and VFR aircraft operating within the Bristol zone under radar control or on a Radar Information or Radar Advisory out of the zone. Aircraft on a flight information service will be using the VFR conspicuity code of 7000. Pilots and controlers are advised to fully co-operate with the squawk codes. When issued, you should enter the number into your transponder, which is adjacent to the radio stack in FSX

Pilots should note that when using Runway 27 there is a 395M area

of the runway that provides a forward sight distance of less than

1006M (for an eye height of 3M above the runway surface) between 630M

and 1025M after the start of the LDA located in the middle third of

the runway length.

Pilots should note that when using Runway 09 there is a 240M area of

the runway that provides a forward sight distance of less than 1006M

(for an eye height of 3M above the runway surface) between the start

of the LDA and 240M after the start of the LDA located in the area of

the 09 threshold and start of the 09 tdz.
